What is your connection to the Great 80238?
My wife and I live in Stapleton, near the Puddle Jumper Pool. We moved here in 2005, like so many others at that time, from nearby Park Hill.
What about you would surprise people that don't know you?
I have many interests that compete for my attention. Unfortunately, most of them lose out to my hyperactive sense of work responsibility (I'm a workaholic). But I love to fly fish, ski, walk the dog, road bike, watch college sports, drink local beer, defeat my wife in scrabble, play cards (especially Euchre), and watch my kids flourish. I'm also a weekend warrior Mr. Fix It, plus I sing in a choir and occasionally grace the stage at a community theatre company at Montview Presbyterian. They haven't kicked me out of either group....yet.
What is currently on your playlist?
JJ Grey and Mofro, Avett Bros., Al Green, Amos Lee and the James Hunter Six have taken up permanent residence on my playlist. I also dig the fact that my kids and I are swapping playlists. They've introduced me to Marian Hill, Thundercat and The 1975. In turn, I've turned them on to The Clash, Led Zeppelin and Steely Dan.
If you could have any superpower, which would it be and why?
Teleportation. I feel like I'm always running late. Plus, I love to travel.
What is your favorite thing to do in The Great 80238?
I love spontaneous alley parties.
What would you want your last meal to be?
I'll reveal my Wisconsin roots here...Wisconsin Fish Fry (fresh Walleye, potato pancakes and a fistful of ice cold Leinenkugels (original, please).
